Lynplan Domed Cushions

For over 25 years Lynplan have been making replacement cushions for furniture made by high quality manufacturers such as Ercol.  Over the years we have supplied many thousands of these cushions to schools, restaurants and direct to the public.

When you select a fabric on this site you will see a wide range of cushion shapes and sizes illustrated.  Simply find the one that mostly resembles the existing cushion on your chair – or if you do not have an existing cushion – the shape of the chair.  The cushion should be about ½ inch (1cm) smaller than the seat to allow for ‘spread’ when compressed.

If your chair shape or size is not shown you can send us a template and we will make your cushions to size – see the information in the right hand panel of the fabric page.

Cushions are made with four tapes with press fasteners for secure fitting.  If your chair does not have the ‘male’ part of the fastener fitted, these can be ordered for a small extra cost at the time you checkout your order from this site.

When you are sure of your fabric choice and cushion type you can place your order as shown under ‘how to order’.  When your order is received we will acknowledge it in wring and your cushions will be made for you.

The Dining Seat Re-Upholstery Service

Quite simply, you remove the seats from your chairs and send them to us – we re-upholster them in your choice of fabric and return them to you for re-fitting.

When we receive your order we will acknowledge it in writing and send you suitable packaging material to enable you to send your chair seats to us safely.

You can send the seats to us yourself, or choose the special service provided for us by Parcelforce.  All it requires is for you to let us know a few days in advance of an afternoon that you will be available, and we arrange for Parcelforce to collect the seats from you.

When we receive your seats we will remove the old cover and padding and replace it with the correct modern replacement, then re-upholster in your choice of fabric. We will then carefully pack and return the re-upholstered seats to you
